ParticipantThe funny thing about it was the only part of me that actually got uncomfortably cold was my face. The worst part was walking from where we parked to the row of trees through unbroken snow. My legs and hips were killing me from high-stepping through drifts and tripping over buried things we couldn’t see under the snow.

ParticipantIf it’s getting that nasty I would definitely consult a legal expert and make a report to your company’s HR department if there is one. Or go to your boss’ boss, or another lateral supervisor with your concerns.

Participantorionid standing over my shoulder says no text on the picture unless it’s shot as part of the picture. “So if you want to paste a post-it note to Blerticus, that’s fine”.

ParticipantWhat you’ve already done for them might wind up being moot but definitely for anything further you are asked to do you should have them sign a contract spelling out exactly what kind of rights and compensation both parties deserve. There are some handy legal forms you can use at: http://www.brighthub.com/multimedia/photography/articles/14258.aspx
or search around on the web, there are many variations and you can alter them to fit your needs.Kestrana
ParticipantYeah kat would be owed a ton of back pay. I’ll just extort orionid in other ways.
Kestrana
ParticipantWell you could just have people keep track of how they voted for a month and submit their answers to a neutral 3rd party to sort, along with their eye dominance.

ParticipantGoodness knows there’s never been any sort of unrest at Castle Elsinore!

ParticipantAnd thanks everyone for the kudos – the barn picture was actually shot out the passenger side of a moving vehicle as we were coming back from shooting orionid‘s picture. Kind of an “oh! look at that moment” and then he turned down the wrong street.

ParticipantFWIW ennuipoet‘s rose didn’t bother me much since I viewed the “rose” as being the “one object” – but Technohead‘s statue I thought deserved a DQ. So wherever the line is between those, I’m on it.

ParticipantI’m glad orionid’s picture is doing well because it makes it worthwhile to have hiked a mile into a state park through three feet deep snow and blizzard conditions specifically to take it!

Participantmopsy Yes.
ravnostic what orionid says is the way I tend to think also.

ParticipantI was wondering if I could get a ruling on this entry:

I’m not very attached to it, but I’d like other’s opinions; does it fit the contest?I like it.
Also, Ravnostic: There’s a glitch in the matrix. Your leftover lasagna has been swapped for an apparently delicious burning building.
I like it too. And those are tiled stairs.

ParticipantThe irony is, when we’re out using the vintage cameras, no one seems to object at all and we get remarks like “cool man” and “wow that looks old” etc – especially from kids.
So I guess the lesson is, if you’re a pedophile/terrorist, shoot old film (??) :/
