i know we just had lunacy, but is there anything about this contest that rules out moon shots? now that i have a DSLR i can take pix of the actual moon (as opposed to my toy moon entries in lunacy lol) and it’s in the daytime sky just just now to make things a little easier for me … and also different from many other submissions, most likely.

The moon should be fair game again.

Well since miller is stuck in Saudi Arabia I’ll say to get extension tubes for him.(I think thats what he uses for all his macro shots and he seems to be pretty good at it) I don’t actually have any but I keep saying I’m going to get them so I may get around to it one of these days.

I feel like I overdosed on saturated colors after reviewing (and voting) tonight. Lots of the photos tonight practically jumped off the monitor and smacked you in the face. I’d love to see this theme get repeated as a “classic”.

I don’t think you have to worry about flowers not coming up again in the future, its been a pretty popular theme every time we’ve done it.

Maybe we could say no sunsets for this contest and plan on doing look to the skies again sometime in the future to let everyone get there sunset shots in. I think if we allow sunsets then we could allow the contest to go in a very different direction than it was intended.

It’s a shame you won’t be in Japan for this. You could have gotten a shot of the infamous nose blossom.

I think movie scenes were just an example of a type of famous scene that you could recreate.

From the comments he made in flickr Im guessing its a stacked image, but with no one being sure and all of his other entries looking legit I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
