Did it once travel in or on water at any point in its daily usage? It’s like a hydrofoil type thing? I would think that would fit. I would even say yes to seaplanes personally. But Maybe kestrana was thinking boats and or ships?

inelegy 2012-04-05 01:11:47 AM It says in his description that their father took the shot. I would let the picture stay unenvoteified if I had the power. It definitely fits the theme I think other than who pushed the shutter button.

Very cool looking trees. I don’t suffer from allergies so I just want to be there with my camera. We have very few flowering trees here and they are pretty scattered about town not in one place like those in the gallery.

I have done a few of those poses I bet.I once waded across a fairly calm river With my dslr and a kit lens even but it was only waist deep not over my head like #4.

Yeah, poor Kestrana has been waiting a year for her Watercraft theme to be scheduled. Hopefully with the early spring there will be lots of watercraft to photograph!

I know mine will all be archive dives for the watercraft theme. I just don’t think a boat on a trailer in a gas station parking lot will draw to many votes. Luckily I used to live next to a harbor where lots of fishing and crabbing happened. And I took tons of pictures.

[lokisbong]

Well I failed to get even one picture for this week. Not even any archive shots I can use. Well good thing I have already been shooting for next week.
Nice Fishes you got there U-Man. You and the daughter are some serious fishing family! Very nice.

:lol:That’s too funny staplermofo. As of right now I have nothing at all for this contest. I’m not much of a cook and I’ve been at work every time my friends cook dinner I might have to resort to sandwich making today. Especially since today is my only day off until after the contest goes live.

[lokisbong]

Well like everyone else said I am happy you are getting outside help so to speak. sometimes you just can’t “work it out” on your own. Good luck on getting back to a happier place quickly.

[lokisbong]

Just think soon she will be running around getting under foot when you least expect it. 😀

[lokisbong]

Thanks everyone. It just working in a gas station but its a lot better than unempoyedness.

[lokisbong]

Hey don’t feel too bad about archive diving Ravnostic. I have two this week from the archives and one I shot last week I think it was for tomorrows theme. Gonna be a bit late entering my pics this week though because I got a call today to be at one of the places I applied for ages ago it seems. They want me there at 1pm ready to work and I know they do 8 hour shifts! woo hoo! So I will be maybe half an hour after it goes green Maybe a bit more.

[lokisbong]

Nice! Corgis are cool little dogs. Looks like you got a best friend already.

[lokisbong]

Thanks Els. Did not see that one coming at all.

Congrats to linguine on the combined win and to lokisbong on another fine showing (that’s 6 top tens in the last quarter now). The Weekly Reports post has been updated with the latest stats.

Thanks. Now I just gotta get a shot that will outright win one of these contests. 🙂 Oh and a second place and an eighth just to fill in all the top ten places would be cool. 😆 this is only my second third place it seems. So double woo hoo for me.

[lokisbong]

Lucky you only having rain. lol It’s supposed to snow here up to a foot over the next two days from what I read. lucky about them not having to do major surgery on your camera though I bet you didn’t feel so lucky when it decided not to work correctly and bought a new camera to replace it.

[lokisbong]

At least that guy is technically correct, unlike say some of them in the bokeh thread….

Yeah maybe correct but it makes him no less a pedantic ass for feeling the need to tell us all. 99% of people who call them legos have done so since before the internet was made available to the public. Why feel the need to teach us these pedantic facts. We know and don’t care is my opinion. 😀
