Does the subject have to be airborne? Or would a speeding car or say umm… a pug chasing a ball work?

By the way, you need to clean up and get that pizza box out in the recycle bin.

Wait, you get to recycle pizza boxes? We can’t – they claim that the pizza grease soaks into the cardboard and ruins the recycle-ablilty.

They! Always telling me what to do. Harumph!

I throw my pizza boxes in the recycle bin anyway.

    I’m a rebel like that!

My crappy old 18-55 lens blew me away on these shots. I have never been that impressed with it but it was the widest lens I have. Click on the high res versions (HR) to see how sharp these shots came out.
Sadly, I was refering to your wild-eyed two-legger, not so much the pug. Don’t think I’ve ever seen an angry pug.
I get them confused all the time. They compete against each other to see who can give me more grey hairs!

Grandkids are fun but when they live with you it makes you realize why young people are supposed to have kids!

Thanks to all for being so welcoming

There’s alot of sarcasm around here. You’ll get used to it. Really, welcome to Farktography!

    /Carefule, though… NoBigDeal has a lot of pictures of a mean lookin’ ankle-biter. 😀

Hey..now that I look I don’t have any mean looking pictures of him…

Maybe I can rile him up and get a few that look like this

(Not my puggy pug, but I can make him look like this if I tease him enough)

    Welcome to Farktography BTW photoburg

I’m going to stop holding high hopes for my shots and just be happy anytime I can beat my average. Nice shots, all.

NoBigDeal Is that a potbelly stove in the background of your statue? Nice.

I think it’s one of those Chimnea thingies. It’s not my place I was just walking by and snapped a shot of the birdbath.

I just cleaned the sensor on my 40D. I went to my local camera shop and asked the owners what they use on their cameras. They gave me a sensorklear lenspen.
http://www.lenspen.com/?cPath=&products_id=SK-1&tpid=146 and a small dust bulb.

I did it last night and it worked like a charm!

Pen was 12 bucks and he gave me the bulb.

here’s me after taking photos Friday night. Don’t know if I’m actually going to use any of them for the contest, though. Conditions were not optimal out there.

    Nice hat!

I really thought I’d end up going macro this week. I’ve got a fist-sized clump of halite (salt) crystals, some garnets in granite, petrified wood, mollusk fossils, etc. Kind of ran out of time and can’t exactly set up a macro shoot in my office during the work day.

I pretty much had you pegged on mountain grandeur. That’s what I would do if I had all of Alaska at my disposal. That, and buy a whole lot of thermal underwear. I guess its not much surprise that not only were all of my B-sides archived Hawaii shots, but all but one of them were from the big island, too.

I took a bunch of shots of that big hunk of whatever it is and now I can’t decide what to use!

I still think it looks like some form of industrial adhesive that managed to crystalize as it hardened. Almost like it should be ever so slightly rubbery to the touch. Or smoky (brown) quartz, which is not only possible, but also likely in RI.

    Yea.It’s quartz. I googled it!

I have a ton of B-Sides too. I have 15 shots to narrow down to 2 entries. I took a bunch of shots of that big hunk of whatever it is and now I can’t decide what to use!
