Yeah most of my favorite pictures don’t do so great. Some day I will post something that actually wins but I am sure it will be my least favorite that week. so far this week I am happy-ish with the votes. Although the top vote getter seems to be going down in places instead of up the scale.the week I figure out what the voters like will be like Douglas Adams says about the Universe.”If ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.”

Missed them myself. Stupid sky decided to be just hazy enough to make seeing any thing clear impossible. Grr!

Well now that I know when they will be I will be weather permitting. Hmmm mostly clear and 30 degrees on wednesday and more clouds called for thursday. Where exactly is a good place online to keep track of these events. I will forget if I don’t have a site bookmarked that I can look at regularly.

Indeed! Congrats U-Man. I wore my clicking finger out this week. Didn’t do great myself but also didn’t do too bad. As usual my favorite is in third place among my three. I am sure I will never figure out what the voters want but its fun to try.

Thanks CauseISaidSo. Most of what you can see of that cloud is falling snow. It looks like a lot of snow but I don’t think it was as thick as it looks. Hardly any stuck and what did was gone in an hour or so.

I got to see snow falling the day before yesterday but it was very light and didn’t have any stayin power. The only thing it stuck to was my coat. It was neat watching the snow flurries blow past out in the desert valley to the north. I got some pictures I will look through them and post one here .

I just rolled over the count on my Canon yesterday for the second time since I got it christmas of 08. The first 10000 took a little over 2 years and the next 10000 since march of this year. my camera has been very busy it seems.

Very nice. Never had the chance to try film. well I bought a cheap 35mm camera but it busted before I even put one roll through it. Not the first time I ever dropped a camera but it was so cheap it exploded all over the floor.
