ParticipantSo far the only pictures I have that fit this theme are spiders. I got some really good pictures by my standards though. Almost all of a supposedly harmless to humans spider family. I even have one of a big ole girl eating an aphid I think.
warning if you don’t like spiders… http://www.flickr.com/photos/34626556@N02/sets/72157622669044574//I think I used one or two of the older shots already.

ParticipantI usually go to the fark scratchpad (just search for scratchpad) once I have my pictures selected and get the text all set up, copy to my email or notepad, then I can just copy + paste when the thread goes live….course this week I was a little ahead of Linguine by doing so, so don’t do what I did and assume if someone posted a comment already that the initial post is at the top ><
The scratchpad is a handy tool for that indeed. That’s how I set my entries up for posting usually.

ParticipantNext week I am still trying to figure out what all to shoot. I am planning a night hike this weekend and if the fog cooperates I might have some stuff.
edited to say …I keep reading your earlier edit and maybe I will do one of the crappy band shots just to say I tried.

ParticipantWell I uploaded my only decent pictures for this week and realized they all three suck so I think I am gonna sit this one out.
Sorry to hear that :/
edit: I usually post at least one anyway, just to make a showing. Honestly, you never know. I’ve seen my best pics tank, and my mediocre ones (in my mind) catch some fancy…
Now that I have looked through the thread I think it was a sound choice. I am out of my element with band shots I guess.

ParticipantI don’t have a thing for this one. well maybe some slightly blurry shots of a local band playing to almost no one. I don’t think gimp could sharpen them up enough to make it worth posting . kinda sucks that my little trucks clutch is currently as broke as I am. Or I could get the twenty miles out to my mom n dads place. They have a piano and at least one guitar and my nephew lives there and I guarantee he has guitar hero…

ParticipantThey take what look like a really old picture even if its a new camera? Weird.

ParticipantI spent a year failing to learn the clarinet. I am a huge fan of most types of music but I seem to be better at remembering lyrics and not so much the making music part. My friends keep telling me I should stick to my day job.

ParticipantI have an older Lowepro combo thing. Bottom is a camera bag, normal backpack space on top. I got it used from a friend. I love it. It even has room for another lens or two. It is kind of slow to get out your camera but its comfortable on the shoulders.

ParticipantAll this “top ten” talk makes my pics a lot less likely to be in the book. I don’t think I have ever gotten above 15th place to date but I can’t wait to see the book either way.

ParticipantVery cool! I agree with the people who want to see it as soon as possible.

Participantyeah. Happy b-day millera9. they are both very good pictures. my best went down the place scale also but at least I got more votes than the last couple weeks. Kinda surprised the shot of my friends kid got so few votes but there is no figuring out what will get votes.

http://i684.photobucket.com/albums/vv206/Dweedlebug/untitled.jpgSince no one else seems to have noticed you yet Hi! and welcome. Those are nice in my opinion. Although I’m not sure how much thats worth. My best shot this week is in 63rd place. A whole lot of very good shots this week for sure. Too many to call out here.
