ParticipantGood jorb! You should drink more often 😉

ParticipantThat’s generally the rule. I’ve been having trouble getting links from my gallery2 install to post cleanly lately, and I’m not sure why though.

ParticipantThe third one (with the tree sticking out of the tree of sheep) has a really cool feel to it, especially.

Participanthaha! Awesome orionid!

ParticipantI’d be fine with it either way, but I suspect this might be best for a Caturday, and then have another contest with the PSers.

ParticipantThe dining room table has a project we’re both working on on it 😉
We have…multiple things. Including a stack of empty picture frames :/
Back on topic though: Just found this on lifehacker, and it’s relevant to our interests:

Participant“Photograph the classical elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Difficulty: Each entry should primarily represent a single element and each must be a different element. Up to four photos may be entered”
Like that?

ParticipantKes, ask Kat about our dining room table some time 😛

ParticipantYeah, I don’t think I’d want to be the person to sit there and count 3 (or 4) entries per person x 50+ posters in a contest, not to mention making sure that none of them are ‘R’s.
Besides, I think the only contest we’ve ever required a set number of pictures was Take Three, and those were all in one post. I’d suspect even our semi-regulars would get all kinds of confused (myself included)

ParticipantI’m still partial to this one…
Bonus: it makes squeaky noises when you hit people with it.

Participantrav, I’ve got one, and an idea for a second that need two friends of mine, but they’re nothing like that. And, no idea what I’m doing for a third. So, there you go.
As far as religious venues go, it depends. I’ve trundled around the local Catholic cathedral with no problems, but I suspect the smaller parishes wouldn’t be so thrilled. Key things are to be quiet, respectful, and not bother anyone in there worshiping. Oh, and make sure there’s not a service or wedding going on when you want to go. If you need to photograph someone in a venue like that, recruit a sucker, er…friend to model for you.

ParticipantBring it. I only have a few hundred shots other than what I put up in that gallery, but I’m not skeered 😉
/plus I’ve had an idea for this contest for a few months now…I just haven’t shot it yet… -
